The recruitment of 2022 F Ben Middlebrooks is starting to heat up

Get ready to hear a lot more about big man Ben Middlebrooks from Fort Lauderdale (FL) Westminster Academy.

The 6-foot-8 big man was one of the most impressive big men in at the Hoop Exchange Fall Festival over the weekend and it was clear to see why he's already trending in the direction of a full-scale high-major recruitment.

He’s a strong rebounder with a frame that is still going to fill out with more muscle and strength. He can face up and knock down the three. Middlebrooks has the skill set of a modern-day four-man. He's a good rebounder with toughness and a motor. Middlebrooks plays older than his age and has a maturity to his approach that will draw in a number of high-level programs.

Davidson, Dayton and Wake Forest have all come by the school already. Middlebrooks said he holds offers from Florida Gulf Coast, South Florida, Stetson and Wake Forest while Florida and Ohio State are also showing interest.

Middlebrooks recently took a visit to Wake Forest and said the time in Winston-Salem was "awesome".
