South Carolina Fall Preview Player Spotlight: Korey Richardson
During our HoopSeen Preview camps we get to see a number of prospects over the course of two months. Our latest camp was for South Carolina and one player really stole the show in our eyes, Korey Richardson, a class of 2021 guard out of Lower Richland (SC) High School in Columbia, South Carolina.
There were a number of college level prospects at our event held at Upward Stars Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina but Richardson warranted the most praise for his play.
The 6-foot-4 guard facilitated the break off of rebounds, made long passes like a FBS quarterback and tried to break the rim off the backboard on a couple of high-flying dunks in transition. The junior will lead the Diamond Hornets again this season and look to get past the first-round of the SCHSL playoffs.
Richardson tells HoopSeen that he has an ACC offer from Clemson along with interest from Memphis, South Carolina, Florida State, NC State, Wake Forest, Middle Tennessee, Murray State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Michigan State, Georgia, and Providence.
Memphis is scheduled to see Richardson tomorrow as workouts at Lower Richland begin again.
