Big man Johni Broome considering offers and upcoming visits

Johni Broome was one of the best big men from the Southeast that we saw on the travel circuit this spring and summer. The 6-foot-9 post from Tampa (FL) Catholic shined with Team Florida as a simplistic paint producer, rebounder and defender.

Now he's into his senior year, his focus is shifting to a serious recruitment. Broome said he has offers from Bryant, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville and Stetson.

He added Kent State, Morehead State, UNC Asheville and Western Michigan are also involved.

"I'm about to schedule some visits to most of those schools I just named," Broome said.
