Trae Benham taking unofficial visits

PSB Elite 16U made the trip to Suwanee Sports Academy in May for the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions.

Playing the two-guard spot, Benham impressed with his shooting, his toughness and his leadership qualities. He kept the same energy at the NCISAA live period event in Greensboro this past weekend.

His recruitment is picking up since one of the most prestigious travel team tournaments in the country ended.

Benham tells HoopSeen that he has scheduled unofficial visits to Belmont, Lipscomb, Winthrop, UNC-Greensboro and Trevecca over the next two weeks.

The 6-foot-3 guard has been hearing from a number of colleges recently including Appalachian State, UMBC, Holy Cross, FAU and Mercer.

Big South and Southern Conference schools should make Benham a priority.
