Schools starting to catch up to speedy PG Jalen Speer

Jalen Speer was a key member of the Florida Knights backcourt and contributor to his team’s championship run at the loaded Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions.

The speedy point guard from Gainesville (FL) P.K. Yonge was hard to stop back in May and should a quick pace to his recruitment after more coaches see him in July.

To date, he said he has interest from Bethune-Cookman, Arkansas State, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Florida Gulf Coast, North Florida, College of Charleston and Dayton.

Speer said he has already visited Georgia Southern, College of Charleston and Florida Gulf Coast.

I think he’s one of the best point guards that I’ve seen in the Southeast from the class of 2020.
