Dwon Odom recruitment update
Dwon Odom is best known for his uncanny ability to score and make plays in the open court. His ability to finish at a high level has gained him a lot of buzz as one of the top point guards in the 2020 class. Odom sat down with HoopSeen to discuss his recruitment.
“Right now, I have offers from Xavier, TCU, Auburn, UGA, Mississippi St. NC. State and a couple others. UK has been showing me some interest lately too”
Having been on unofficial visits to UGA, UK and TCU, Odom has set future visit dates for Xavier on July 2nd and Auburn on June 23rd.
“Xavier and UGA standout right now. They've been keeping in touch a lot lately. They always watch film on me and let me know how I can get better.
“My mom is one of the people I talk to of course. Demond, Kobi Simmons dad, and Coach Catlett. One thing is they want me to pick somewhere with good academics. They want me to go somewhere that's a fit. Some place that will make me feel comfortable. Somewhere that my mom will feel like I made the best decision and she won't have any second thoughts.”
“Location to my mom is important. Another thing would be playing style. If the team plays fast or at a slower pace. I like to play at a fast pace. I want to play for a coach that lets me play my game”
