HoopSeen Tip-Off Spotlight: Trae Hannibal
As we look back at our HoopSeen Tip-Off, there were a number of players that really stood out from the competition. One such player is Trae Hannibal.
The bulldog mentality point guard powered his way through defenses throughout the event for the Carolina Wolves. He was just too big and too strong for defenders to contain him. He finished with a 16 point per game average at the event.
Our staff had several looks at the 6-foot-1 guard from Hartsville (SC) High School over the weekend and we came away with a number of evaluation thoughts. Including:
- Trae Hannibal’s body is college ready! Very few guards his age is built like him.
- Has a college-ready body and doesn’t mind getting physical.
- The 2019 Carolina Wolves guard has had a major impact here at our HoopSeen Tip-Off.
- Trae Hannibal, 2019 guard is poised to have a breakout spring for the Carolina Wolves. One of the more explosive players here at our Tip-off, Trae has routinely made plays above the rim. Traffic doesn't faze him.
- 2019 guard Trae Hannibal getting above the rim for the Carolina Wolves. Love his strength with the ball in his hands.
Hannibal told our HoopSeen.com staff that he holds offers from Oklahoma State, Coastal Carolina, Western Carolina, Stetson, South Carolina State, College of Charleston and interest from several other programs.
Hannibal and his Carolina Wolves team will be at Suwanee Sports Academy for the Atlanta Jam during the NCAA Live Period April 27-29.
