HoopSeen Tip-Off Spotlight: Jaelyn Withers
At every HoopSeen event, there seems to be one player that always has the question “Have you seen him play yet?” that follows him around for the weekend.
Jaelyn Withers was that player at the HoopSeen Tip-Off over the weekend. The 6-foot-9 forward from Team Loaded NC was one of the most impressive players from the event and was a trending topic because of plays like this.

The North Meck (NC) product is a high-flying forward that played well at the rim, above the rim, in the paint, on the glass and in the open floor. We saw flashes of everything from the class of 2019 top 100 national prospect.
Withers has offers from Clemson, Virginia, Florida, Virginia Tech, NC State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Charlotte and VCU, according to his high school coach.
Withers has been on the campus of Kentucky twice during the college season and coaches from Kansas, Ohio State, Maryland, Georgetown, Michigan and Cincinnati have been in to see him play during the season.
Recently, Louisville and Syracuse have indicated they will recruit him in April on the travel circuit.
As we march ahead to the NCAA Live Period, Withers will be a heavily evaluated player with Team Loaded NC. As he should be. He’s talented and worth the time spent on the sidelines and baselines.
Withers and his Team Loaded NC team will be back at Suwanee Sports Academy for the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions on May 18-20.
