Jaylin Williams recruitment
Jaylin Williams has had himself an impressive junior season getting several triple-doubles throughout the year. Several coaches have made the trip to Brantley Co. to watch him have his most recent games of 51 and 44 points. When asked what was important to him when deciding where to play at the next level, Jaylin said that his fit between him and the coaching staff is just one of the things that would weigh heavily on his decision.
" I want to play the 3 because I consider myself more of a wing than a post, but I'm capable of playing both. I want to play immediately as a freshman so I want to go to a situation that I could earn minutes."
After picking up recent interest from Wisconsin and Georgetown, Jaylin says that he stays in constant contact with his coach Chris Williams about his recruitment.
" Everyone on my team is like family to me. I always talk to him about who has reached out and vice versa. We are really close".
When asked about what offers he has, the triple-double machine said
" Honestly there's a lot of them to keep up with. Some of the ones that come to mind are Georgia, Xavier, Butler and Florida St. Two of the schools that are in constant contact with me about my grades and how I have been playing are Xavier and Butler.
Jaylin said that he isn't in a rush to make a decision and targets sometime during his senior year as the time to pick his next stopping grounds.
