Younger sets official visit
Brandon Younger is one of the most intriguing players in Georgia’s 2018 class. The 6-foot-7 do-everything point forward from Marietta (GA) Wheeler is now shifting his focus to his recruitment.
The No. 15 overall player in Georgia’s 2018 class has an official visit set up with Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 14.
A couple of other visits are on the horizon, too.
Younger said he has offers from Austin Peay, Florida Gulf Coast, Gardner Webb, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee State, Rice, Stetson, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UNC Asheville, Weber State, Winthrop, Wofford
Younger said he is also hearing from Butler, Charleston, Mercer, UNC Wilmington and Virginia.
He shined with Game Elite on the travel circuit and has the skill set that should serve him well at the college level. With a new head coach at Wheeler and an entire starting lineup now at a Division I school from last year’s team, Younger will be a go-to guy for the Wildcats this season.
