NBPA Top 100 spotlight: Devon Dotson
Devon Dotson finished the NBPA Top 100 camp as one of the top performers in the loaded event. He’s an experienced big stage performer and his final go round in Charlottesville was an impressive one.
Dotson was among the camp leaders in scoring (12.4 points a game), assists (4.3 assists a game) and steals (2 a game) over the course of seven games. He only missed one foul shot during the camp, too.
His best production came in the final game of the camp, scoring 22 points, dishing out nine assists, grabbed five rebounds and racked up four steals.
He announced his final eight schools during the camp, too. Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Miami, Ohio State, Southern California and Wake Forest all have a shot for his signature come November.
Dotson said he will take official visits in September. He visited Maryland before he arrived in Charlottesville for camp.
His travel teammate Aaron Nesmith recently committed to the Big Ten program. Another thing to consider is the Under Armour affiliation at Maryland. Dotson is one of the brand’s best players and has been quite loyal to the shoe sponsored circuit.
