NBPA Top 100 camp spotlight: Luguentz Dort
Luguentz Dort didn’t play at the NBPA Top 100 camp because of a wrist injury he sustained in Italy during the adidas EuroCamp. And truth be told, that’s about the only thing that slowed down the Montreal, Quebec native this summer.
The strong-bodied combo guard has been one of the best players we’ve seen in person from the class of 2018 this travel season. The Canadian is making a strong push for a top 20 status in our upcoming rankings release. He is currently No. 23 overall in our 2018 rankings.
With the success on the court, Dort said he’s now moving his recruitment into the next phase of activity.
Dort said he’s been offered by Miami, Michigan State, Oregon, West Virginia, Indiana, Baylor and Florida, among others, and would like to see more from some of these programs. Dort has been on the campus of Florida, Miami, Arizona State and Louisville already. He would like to unofficially visit Indiana and Oregon.
“They are all even right now,” Dort said. “I will probably start my official visits at the end of June or in July and probably make a decision at the end of the summer.”
