#Gibbons Spotlight: Cade Long

One of the things we’ve been looking for this spring here at HoopSeen is shooters. And when a shooter pops up and he’s a big-time student, we get even more excited.

Cade Long played the role of three-point sniper on opening night of the 2017 Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. The 6-foot-2 guard from Boca (FL) High School had one of the hottest hands on Friday night. Long hit five three-pointers in a win.

He doesn’t hold any offers at the moment but he’s playing at a level that should turn interest into offers. Long said he’s hearing from Navy, American, Columbia, Florida Atlantic, Stetson and Brown.

The 4.0 student is the type of player that has used the stage of the Gibbons to elevate his recruitment.
