#Gibbons Spotlight: Berrick Jeanlouis

Over the last few years, Fort Myers has become known as Dunk City.
That name is mostly for the high flying acts that happen at Florida Gulf Coast; however Fort Myers (FL) Canterbury School & Team Knight 2018 wing can put on a show of his own at the high school level. And at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, he did exactly that.
Jeanlouis is a highly athletic wing/guard that is extremely versatile and makes difficult plays at the rim look very easy. Not many guys were as fast from end to end as he was and he put on a show in transition.
“Right now I have five offers,” Jeanlouis said of his recruitment. “Murray State, UAB, South Alabama, UNF, and FGCU, but I also talk to the staff and have interest from George Washington” he continued.
Jeanlouis played every position one through four for Team Knight at Bob Gibbons TOC and was one of the most versatile players in the field. He is being recruited mainly as a wing, but that versatility makes him an attractive prospect because he is developing and fine tuning his skills at both guard positions.
He will be a plater to watch come July and could be a popular name among MM & MM+ programs.
