Best of the South Profile: Hunter Tyson

2018 Piedmont (NC) forward Hunter Tyson had a huge spring with PSB Select Elite on the travel circuit, and the 6-foot-7 shooter continued that rapid development Thursday evening with 24 points and 10 rebounds to open up #BOTS.

In return, college coaches have begun to show considerable interest in Tyson, too. He holds several offers to this point.

"Tennessee, Appalachian State, Davidson, Charlotte, and Elon have offered me," Tyson told HoopSeen.com. "NC State and Clemson are showing interest."

Tennessee, Clemson, and Appalachian State had assistant coaches in attendance to see him Thursday night.

It's still early in the recruiting process for Tyson, but the rising junior has taken unofficial visits to NC State and Clemson recently.

As #BOTS continues, keep your eye on Tyson, as plenty of more offers and interest are expected.
