Best of the South Profile: Caleb Hollander
2017 Nashville (TN) Central Christian power forward Caleb Hollander (right) had a successful weekend at #BOTS, as he caught the eye of several new mid-major programs. His recruitment has taken itself to the next level over the past few weeks.
The 6-foot-7 sharpshooter has sparked the interest of many programs because of his ability to stretch the floor and shoot the basketball. Hollander gets his shot off as quick as any big man in the Southeast. Add in his quality size and the rising senior is a hot commodity for many mid-major programs.
"I have offers from Oral Roberts, Old Dominion, High Point, Wright State, and Marshall," Hollander told HoopSeen.com at #BOTS.
Since the conclusion of the July evaluation periods, Hollander has picked up a handful of new scholarship offers. Charlotte, UTEP, Belmont, Bowling Green, St. Bonaventure, Austin Peay, and Santa Clara have all extended official scholarship offers in the last few days.
"Utah, Utah State, BYU, Stanford, Notre Dame, Marquette, George Mason, James Madison, Virginia Tech, and Iowa State are showing some interest, too."
Look for the budding big man to set up some official visits for the fall in the near future.
