Best of the South Profile: Adam Kunkel

The Kentucky Travelers have been a popular team for college programs to follow around thus far at Best of the South. One of the main reasons is because of 2018 guard Adam Kunkel.

Kunkel, a 6-foot-2 combo guard, has had a solid showing to open #BOTS, continuing his stellar play from the spring. He is an excellent ball-handler with tremendous feel, and he is a sniper from 3, too.

Coaches from Central Arkansas, Samford, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, UNC-Greensboro, and Wright State were among the schools in attendance Friday morning, and the majority of them have big interest in Kunkel.

"My only offer is from Central Arkansas right now," Kunkel told HoopSeen.com. "Wright State, Kent State, Samford, Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and Dayton are showing interest."

Northern Kentucky hosted Kunkel for a visit in the past, but he hopes to see more in the future. Until then, he plans to work on his game and continue to add to his offer list - which will grow sooner rather than later.
