Dort has next out of Canada
Canada continues to roll out some high-end prospects for college basketball and Luguentz Dort has the tools to be one of the next players the basketball community talks about. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound from Montreal, Quebec has the tools of a national prospect.
Dort is an aggressive scorer, cut from the mold of Arizona freshman Rawle Alkins. Last year at the Best of the South he was one of the best standouts in the entire tournament. He pumped the points with power and purpose.
College coaches are beginning to take notice of one of the best sleepers in the class of 2018. The Jacksonville (FL) Arlington Country Day guard said he has offers from Baylor, Missouri, Florida, Louisville and Oregon. Arizona State and Ohio State are also interested.
The Canadian said he has taken an unofficial visit to the University of Florida.
We will update our HoopSeen.com Class of 2018 rankings after the Nike Elite 100, USA Basketball training camp and the NBA Top 100 camp. Dort will be counted amongst the best players in that category.
