Schools showing interest in Lanzi after productive live periods
After a couple of productive April evaluation periods, 2017 Chelsea (AL) shooting guard Joseph Lanzi is on the radar for a number of college programs.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard had a nice initial showing in Dallas with Team Carroll on the adidas Gauntlet circuit, then he followed up with an encore the next weekend in Atlanta. Lanzi raised some eyebrows Friday evening against the Louisville Magic, as he showed off his shooting ability and his IQ.
Sporting a 4.1 GPA and a 23 on the ACT, many high-academic institutions are showing interest in Lanzi. A variety of other schools are too.
"Cincinnati, Arkansas-Little Rock, South Alabama, Belmont, Troy, Cornell, Brown, Penn, Samford, SIU-Edwardsville, Loyola (MD), William & Mary, and Alabama-Huntsville have contacted me," Lanzi told HoopSeen.com.
Lanzi is currently ranked No. 35 in the 2017 HoopSeen Alabama rankings, but after a successful spring, he could be making a move in our next rankings installment.
