Elite Preview Profile: Noah Gurley

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a player who’s stock has skyrocketed more than Fayette County’s ’17 Noah Gurley

Emerging after being virtually unknown his sophomore season, the 6-foot-7 forward made his presence felt by winning Region 5-AAAA Player of the Year.

Gurley saw his minutes and production blow up. He averaged 2.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks a year ago before posting a stat line of 16.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per game this season.

Tennessee Tech, Kennesaw State, South Alabama and James Madison all have interest in Gurley who sees himself as more of a small forward in college.

“At the next level I want to play a three. That’s why Coach [Andre] Flynn has me working on my handles and guard skills more,” Gurley said.

It will be a busy summer for Gurley with his new found exposure and production.

“Georgia called my coach and said they are going to set up a visit and South Alabama wants me to set up a visit," he said.
