RELATED: 16U Top Performers, Part I
Eli Williams, Pro One Select TN - Shipley: Williams had a quality weekend shooting the ball and landed on our top performers list. The long, lanky 6-foot-4 sniper made multiple shots from behind the arc each game, using his size to shoot over defenders. While his shooting touch is his supreme skill, there’s a lot more to like about Williams. He made some strong drives to the rim and also utilized his length on the defensive end of the floor. I could see several Division I and high Division II programs tracking him at this time next year. - Garrett Tucker
T.J. Tunstall, AC Georgia: Tunstall impressed me this weekend. The 5-foot-10 combo guard is quick and athletic, and scored in bunches for AC Georgia. Tunstall shot the ball at a high clip and his shot-making consistency was very impressive. I’m excited to see his progression over the next two years, as he has the potential to become an elite guard at the next level. - Zack Cepress
Galen Roberts, Atlanta Gators: Roberts was one of the most intriguing prospects in the building this past weekend. His length and skill set at 6-foot-7" allow him to cause mismatches all over the floor with his fluid handle and ability to score the basketball. Roberts also possesses elite athleticism, and he showed it with a nasty tomahawk dunk in traffic in a game on Sunday morning. This definitely will not be the last time you see me or others talking about Roberts because his ceiling is so high. - Mekhi Mckinney
Kylan Allen, Club 51: Allen impressed at BOTS in a multitude of ways, but each game he stood out with his defensive prowess. The lanky, 6-foot-6 forward showed the quickness off his feet, blocking and altering shots in the paint. He also moved well and made several blocks coming from the weak side. Offensively, the rising junior was the beneficiary from a fast-paced offensive team. He is great in rim-run situations and was a mismatch problem for a lot of other bigs. Hillsboro (TN) has produced some talent in recent years and Allen looks to be next up in the Volunteer state. - Garrett Tucker
Kobe Jackson, Tennessee Tigers: I have always been a fan of guards with length that can shoot it. Jackson checks all those boxes with his game. He was consistent all weekend long for a very competitive Tennessee Tigers 16-and-under group at our Best of the South. Jackson played up with the 17U the last time we saw him at our prestigious Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions in May. Jackson knows when to score and knows when to make a play to get an easier basket. He has a high basketball IQ and we will be hearing his name a lot more in the future. - Justin Byerly
