2024 Bama Jam: 16U Top Performers, Part II

Yet another Bama Jam is in the books, and like the previous renditions of the event, there were plenty of standout players and performances. We’re beginning our post-event coverage with our top performers from the 16U division, where plenty of players lived up to expectations.

Here’s our second installation of our top performers from the 16U division…

RELATED: 16U Top Performers, Part I

Ethan Walton, C, ICH 2026 Green: Walton is a strong body post player. He rebounded the ball on both ends at a really high level while scoring with ease around the basket. He showed that he can also step out and shoot the three over the weekend. - Jeff Roberts

Joshua Martin, F, Pro One Select Cobb: Martin was a walking double-double at Bama Jam, utilizing his combination of length, athleticism, and toughness to secure rebounds and score in the paint. The 6-foot-7 forward moves the needle on the boards and with his defensive versatility. He can guard ball screens and multiple positions, making him even more intriguing as a prospect. Martin had a quality weekend and averaged over 15 points on the weekend. - Garrett Tucker

Jake Harney, 2026 PG, Shockers 2026: Harney typically wasn’t the Shockers’ leading scorer, but man, he made his team go throughout the weekend. Harney set the tone with his feisty play on both ends of the floor. The sophomore was a pro at breaking down defenses and spraying the ball around to shooters on the perimeter. Harney was also a headache on defense with his quick hands and on-ball defense. The Shockers played an awesome style of basketball and Harney was the ringleader for the team. - Garrett Tucker

Daeshaun Morrissette, Pro One UA: Looking for a guard that can pack a punch? Look no further than Morrissette, who can rack ‘em up with the best of ‘em. The Thompson (AL) product got to his spots on the floor whenever he wanted as he lived in the paint. Morrissette can fill it up and score and bunches, but he also showed some nice instances of creating for others, too. - Garrett Tucker

Xavier Tiller, 2026 F/C, Britt Basketball Academy: Tiller is a 6-6 post that runs the offense from the high post. He passed the ball really well, finding open teammates. He stepped back and knocked down a couple three's. He also rebounded well on the defensive side with his big frame. - Jeff Roberts
