2024 Casey Etienne Jr. is one of the best dual-sport athletes in South Florida. The 6-foot-3, 185-point Etienne Jr. plays point guard and safety for Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Lauderdale.

On the court, Etienne Jr. helped the Chiefs to a district title as a sophomore by averaging 17.3 points, seven rebounds, 5.4 assists and three steals per game. Injuries limited his junior season as Cardinal Gibbons finished 21-7. Overall, Etienne Jr. has been a part of 57 wins.

Michael Costeines is a regional scout based in South Florida. He has been covering both men's and women's basketball in the area since November 2018. Players he has scouted include Scottie Barnes, Zaire Wade, Vernon Carey Jr., Jordana Codio, and Ta'Niya Latson. Michael has previously worked for Prep Hoops and NBC Sports in Stamford, Connecticut. He is originally from Madison (CT) and received his bachelors degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
