2020 sharpshooter Jadan Coleman makes the call for Tulane

2020 Madison (AL) Bob Jones shooting guard Jadan Coleman committed to Tulane following an official visit to campus over the weekend, he told HoopSeen.com.

“Since Tulane started recruiting me it felt like a good fit,” Coleman said. “But after my visit, I was sure that was where I wanted to put myself.”

The Green Wave hosted Coleman for their football home opener against Florida International. During the visit, he was able to take a deeper look into the American Athletic Conference program.

”I was impressed with the relationship between the teammates. It’s a brotherhood. The academic support is good. The fact that the team all has at least a GPA over a 3.0 stood out.”

A 6-foot-3 shooting guard, Coleman has staked his claim as one of the best shooters in the state of Alabama and the Southeast. He averaged 9.7 points per game this season for the Alabama Fusion on the EYBL circuit.

Coleman should be able to find a quality niche in Ron Hunter’s system at Tulane. The first-year coach of the Green Wave has a reputation of excelling with shooters in his offense. Coleman’s length and size should also help out in Tulane’s zone defense efforts.

Coleman chose Tulane over a host of scholarship offers, including Ohio and VCU.

The Green Wave also landed a pledge from 2020 Lanier (GA) guard Sion James while he was on campus for a visit this weekend. They make up a formidable backcourt for Tulane in Hunter’s first full recruiting cycle.
