Live Summer Festival Profile: Wyatt Wilkes
CP25 Southeast Elite forward Wyatt Wilkes is no stranger to Suwanee Sports Academy. It seems every time he is in the building, he is out to make a statement and prove himself.
Over the course of the last two years, the HoopSeen staff has seen his recruitment skyrocket to a number of high major schools in the biggest conferences in the country wanting his services.
“Florida State, Butler, Creighton, Auburn, and Vanderbilt,” Wilkes said about some of the schools recruiting him the hardest.
“Georgia Tech just got involved a few of days ago. They’ve been calling everyday, and I’ve been talking to their coaches a lot,” Wilkes said.
However, Wilkes did not take any visits during the June period and does not plan to take any until he takes his official visits after the July period.
“Right after the July period is over, I am going to cut my list down to four or five depending on how I feel, and then take my official visits right around when football season starts,” Wilkes told HoopSeen.
Wilkes is also open in his recruitment, without a front-runner standing out.
“Nobody is standing out right now, everybody is pretty even right now,” Wilkes said.
