Levi Cook plans two visits, eyes another
Levi Cook, a 6-foot-10 center and one of the best available bigs left on the board in the 2016 class, has a busy few weeks ahead. The native of West Virginia, who plays for Elev8 Sports Institute located in Florida, has set two official visits with another being lined up.
Due to his state of residency but also where he is playing out his final year of prep ball, many programs from near and far away from Cook have been able to get involved with the Elev8 center. On Friday, February 19, the big man will head off to DePaul for two days.
The following weekend, the plan is for Cook to head back close to home as he will get a look at the Longwood men’s basketball program. Florida International is another program that stands a solid shot at landing an official visit out of the West Virginia native in the nearby future.
A hard-nosed and decently skilled back to the rim big man with great high-post qualities, a commitment to any of the three programs would be nice, especially late in the year, where it seems that the end is near for Cook, who at one time, was a West Virginia University commit.
