Future watch: Blake Hinson

There is no secret to the level of basketball talent in the state of Florida year in and year out. The Sunshine State routinely churns out hardwood talent and college basketball flocks to the warm weather in the winter to see who’s next on the college basketball landscape.

Blake Hinson has next. And if you’ve paid close attention to grassroots hoops, you already know that.

Hinson is scoring 17.6 points a game, leading all freshmen in scoring in Florida. He's also ripping down seven rebounds a game. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound wing is one of the toughest players to guard in his grade.

Reportedly, he has offers from Boston College, Central Florida, Florida State, Miami, Rutgers and Virginia Tech already.

He is also receiving interest and offers from high-major schools for football, too.
