Kyle Sandy joins HoopSeen team for Georgia coverage

HoopSeen.com continues to grow as Kyle Sandy joins the site as a Georgia prep basketball content producer.

Sandy is the assistant managing editor and lead basketball editor for SCORE Atlanta and had his work published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Sandy will provide game night recaps from Georgia high school basketball, feature stories and a weekly column – Sandy’s Spiel – to HoopSeen.com.

“When we launched HoopSeen.com, we wanted to make sure that we blanketed the state of Georgia with grassroots basketball coverage,” HoopSeen.com Editor in Chief Justin Young said. “Our site is based in Georgia and the majority of the teams that participate in our events come from the Peach State. So, adding Kyle’s expertise with Georgia prep basketball was the perfect fit for HoopSeen.com.”

Sandy joins Carter Wilson in the state of Georgia for our Georgia high school basketball coverage in season and during the travel circuit.

Sandy will fill the void left by Jalen Butler, who is now an assistant men’s basketball coach at Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, and Kory Keys, who is now a graduate assistant at Ole Miss. Butler spent three seasons with HoopSeen.com before graduating from LaGrange College. Keys was with HoopSeen.com for two seasons before rejoining the Division I coaching ranks.

HoopSeen.com is the online leader for prep basketball event coverage and recruiting news. The company operates National, Regional and Local events (tournaments and camps). HoopSeen was founded in 2010 out of Suwanee Sports Academy in Atlanta, GA.
