2015 Fall Preview Team 16 Evaluations

We had a full day of hoops at the 2015 Fall Preview and will spend the next two weeks unloading player evaluations from the camp. We’ll go team by team and unload our notes from our staff. Today we wrap things up with Team 16.

Alan Breed, McEachern, SG, 2019: The 6-foot-2 guard is a fine scorer and has the makings of a player that could make some noise over the next couple of years. He has a good feel for the game and the mental makeup to be a great backcourt scorer. Breed explodes off the floor for buckets and rises above the closing defenders to get his shot off.

Justin Cave, Island, SG, 2017: Known on the coast a high-end scorer, Cave jumped right into the action with positive production. He’ll need to develop more lift on his jumper but he knows how to fill it up the scoresheet from all three levels on the floor.

Ibrahima Dado, Creekside, PF, 2018: You could argue that he was the biggest surprise of all of the players at the camp. The 6-foot-7 bouncy forward was a big-time presence in the paint and didn’t stop with his motor from start to finish. Coach Winston Neal called him one of the four best athletes and rebounders in the camp. Read more about him HERE

Madarius Hobson, Houlka (MS), SF, 2018: Super scorer. He’s a fast guard that goes hard with straight line drives and plays with supreme confidence. Hobson has great change of speed and direction with the ball. More development with his jumper will advance his overall game on offense.

Kash Jackson, Cherokee, PG, 2016: Easily one of the best point guards in the camp. He was fast, strong, confident, smart and effective. The 5-foot-9 built like a running back made positive plays, was in control and scored from various levels. Tough, tough, tough.

Kevin Kirby, GAC, PG, 2017: The 5-foot-7 guard may be undersized for his position, but he plays with passion and purpose. Like his PG instincts and he makes solid decisions. Liked his ball-handling and ability to attack with both hands on both sides of the floor.

Andrew Leonard, Lambert, SF, 2017: He has a great approach to the game and an attitude of positivity that carried over to his teammates. Leonard is a player that does a little bit of everything well. Fundamentally sound, the 6-foot-4 wing added value across the board for his team.

Stephen McDonald, Fires Park, PG, 2016: A steady ball-handler and distributor, McDonald stayed the course and didn’t do much to move to either the super positive or super negative side. Quiet and efficient. That’s a good thing.

Kameron Pauldo, Dublin, PG, 2018: The 5-foot-7 guard is a speedy small guard that got real low on defense and was willing to play the dirty work game. Liked his hustle and his spirit on defense. Didn’t stand out offensively but took notice of his creativity with the ball.

Jaylin Williams, Brantley Co., SF, 2019 (pictured above): A long bodied 6-foot-5 freshman who is a bit of a tweener at the moment, Williams has a lot of potential ahead of him. He is fairly athletic at the basket as a rim-runner and can guard multiple spots on the floor, displaying his long-term versatility on the hardwood.

Evaluations come from a collection our staff of 12 coaches, four HoopSeen.com writers and two on-staff college coaches.
