The Podcast: ACC is crushing it, outlier PGs, rivalry recruiting

The Podcast brings you recruiting news, chatter from within the recruiting industry, an open door to the weekly happenings at HoopSeen.com and other topics relevant to the world of national basketball recruiting. We air the show regularly every Wednesday right here on the site. We encourage you to follow along by subscribing to us on Soundcloud.

This week’s show looks back on the significant commitments of the week (17 of them!), the back-and-forth with rival schools landing players within a couple of days of each other, the dominance of the ACC and what’s next, package deals in recruiting, how outlier PGs and QBs are similar and much more.

SEGMENT ONE: It was another busy week on the recruiting trail and we look at the fits of specific pledges, how a number of rivalry schools piggy-backed the other and how a 2017 player is much more than a "great get" for one SEC school. A lot of meat in this segment.

SEGMENT TWO: The ACC is absolutely crushing it right now in the class of 2016. What else can you expect? Also, sometimes package deals work in recruiting.  Sometimes they never happen. Sometimes we wait and see. The guys talk about the myths of package deals in recruiting.

SEGMENT THREE: Corey Evans talks about the players that stood out at the MakePlayz Breakout Classic and gives a handful of tips to players on how they can shine at fall showcases.
