Martins Igbanu Chooses Tulsa

Covenant Christian Ministies Academy (GA) power forward Martins Igbanu, one of the best big men in the state of Georgia’s 2016 class, is now off the board and chosen to commit to Tulsa.

“I chose Tulsa because the coaching staff is the best in the country, and it is a top program with a great education for me,” Igbanu told HoopSeen.

Igbanu is currently ranked 20th on the HoopSeen 2016 Georgia rankings and was one of the top post players left in the state.

He sited both Frank Haith and Dennis Felton as major reasons why he chose Tulsa over a myriad of other schools that he held offers from.

Igbanu took an official visit to Tulsa on the last weekend in August and took another official visit this past weekend to Rhode Island.

He chose Tulsa over offers from Cincinatti, Georgia State, Iowa State, Liberty, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Troy, Yale, Princeton, South Florida, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
