Updating the 2016 South Carolina rankings
The state of South Carolina is a nice slice of southern basketball intrigue. The Palmetto State has a handful of quality Division I players. After a busy season on the travel circuit, here is our updated class of 2016 rankings.

Seventh Woods is the clear-cut choice for the top spot in the Palmetto State. The uber-athletic guard has been a fixture on the travel circuit sinDce his middle school days. After a strong showing on the UA Association circuit, Woods never relented his space at the top of the class of 2016 rankings in the Palmetto State.
Jordan Bruner had a strong year with the Upward Stars and the 6-foot-7 forward moved up a spot to No. 2 overall with the move-out of Sedee Keita. Bruner is currently looking at Clemson, Georgia, Temple, Tennessee and Yale.
Mississippi native Darius Hicks has moved over to 22 Feet Academy in Greenville. The athletic 6-foot-7 forward should be a hot commodity this high school season.
Chevez Goodwin, an intriguing big man from the Hammond School, is one of the more sought after post players in the South. He checks in No. 4.
Eli Lake of the Carolina Wolves rounds out our top 5 for the state of South Carolina. The 6-foot-6 wing from Blythewood is a fine shooter with quality grades.
