Moore cuts list to four, sets visits
2016 Montrose Christian (MD) point guard Alani Moore trimmed his list of suitors to four Saturday afternoon. Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Temple, and UMass are the schools in the running for the 5-foot-8 floor general.
“I wanted to narrow my options down and prepare to go to the next level at one of those schools,” Moore told HoopSeen.com. “I have a good relationship with all these coaches, and they all have a similar type of play.
Moore also has official visits set up to three schools. Temple will have the first visit August 28th. Seton Hall will host the three-star guard on September 5th, followed by UMass on September 8th. He is unsure if he will take the trip south to Atlanta for a visit to Georgia Tech.
A timetable for a decision is not set in stone, but Moore hopes to wrap things up quickly following his visits.
“I will hopefully have a decision next month.”
Moore had a fantastic July on the Under Armour circuit with DC Premier, including a big game against title favorite We-R-1 at the UA Finals to help his team advance to the semi-finals. Despite his small stature, Moore is relentless on the floor. He was the difference-maker for his team throughout the travel season, and you can expect that at the next level, too.
