Big recruiting weekend on tap at Auburn

Following the commitment of Mustapha Heron last weekend, Auburn hopes to continue their recruiting momentum this weekend, as they are slated to host several top underclassmen targets for unofficial visits and their elite camp on Sunday.

With one scholarship remaining for the 2016 class, Bruce Pearl and his staff are making the transition to the 2017 class and beyond. A solid rising senior class of Heron, Jared Harper, and Anfernee McLemore allow the Tigers to look towards the future of the program. As expected, several top targets will be on campus this weekend.

Here are a couple of names that will be on the Plains for one of Pearl’s biggest recruiting weekends since manning the ship at Auburn:

  • 2017 C Austin Wiley
  • 2017 PF Alex Reese
  • 2017 PF Garrison Brooks
  • 2017 CG Jamal Johnson
  • 2017 PG Davion Mitchell
  • 2017 SF Chuma Okeke
  • 2017 C Ikey Obiagu
  • 2017 SG Danny Lewis
  • 2018 CG Tony Johnson
  • 2018 F Khavon Moore

Could Auburn land its first piece of the 2017 class this weekend? With a group like this, expect Auburn to take advantage of the opportunity.
