Arkansas adds Jenkins for 2015 class

As the summer comes to a close and college campuses begin to fill up with students, basketball teams are still being filled out at some spots for the class of 2015. The University of Arkansas brought in Floridian Lorenzo Jenkins for an official visit and sealed the deal with the 6-foot-7 wing.

The Naples native will join the Razorbacks as a class of 2015 prospect. Jenkins told HoopSeen.com why he picked Mike Anderson’s SEC program.

“The main reasons were because I like the plan that coach Anderson has for the program and for me as a player,” Jenkins said. “And also because of the family atmosphere.”

Jenkins was a standout at the Atlanta Jam and Best of the South. He shined as a shooter and has great size on the wing. He joins big point guard Jimmy Whitt in the 2015 recruiting class for Arkansas.

Jenkins said he likes the vision Anderson has for him on the wing.

“He really likes my versatility and see's me playing the wing position and being a mismatch problem. He thinks I'll fit in with their running style and play,” Jenkins said.
