#BOTS Kory Keys Saturday Notebook

PSB Select Gets It Done
PSB Select routinely plays well at Suwanee Sports Academy. They did it last year and they're doing it again this year. This year they're being led by great guard play behind Ray Kowalski, Ben Robertson and Jordan Shepherd. Shepherd's heroics carried PSB past The Travelers in one of the tournament's best games.
Players in the Bahamas
I saw 16U Bahamas Jaguars last year and was impressed by their ability to constantly play hard and make games chaos for opponents. This year was much of the same with two nice 2016 prospects in Charles Bain and Qyema Gibson.
All-Ohio Red
On Thursday I wrote about Nick Ward and how physically gifted he was, so today I'm going to write about the rest of that roster.
Across the board there may not be a more talented team at #BOTS. Along with Ward there's Ibi Watson, Andre Wesson, James Manns, Jalen Tate, Rodrick Caldwell, etc. Catch my drift, yet?
Turning Heads: Texas Tigers Elite
Every time you look up, that squad was getting it done behind a litany of guards and a barrage of 3-pointers. Until they ran head on into Alabama Challenge, this team consistently executed and stayed true to their form. There may not have been a more team-oriented unit than this group. And it was impressive to watch.
Get to know Yalen Reed
WACG has had a strong tournament in the 17U division, not only behind guard Kenny Cooper, but also big man Yalen Reed.
Reed is a 6'6" energy guy out of Station Camp High School in Tennessee. Much of what WACG did well was feed off the energy and tenacity of Reed. This is a kid I've heard college coaches ask about all weekend and with good reason. Reed is a major part of why WACG is where they are.
