2015 Best of the South is LOADED

The Best of the South is primed for another terrific week of basketball in 2015. For the fifth year in a row, teams from all over the country and beyond will converge upon Suwanee Sports Academy and surrounding gyms for the NCAA Live Period event July 9-12.

With 150 teams in the field across four age groups (17U to 14U), the #BOTS is loaded with talent from top to bottom.

Over the years we’ve seen McDonald’s All-Americans fine tune their craft and players start their stories. From Jaylen Brown to Jonathan Isaac, players have written their story on the floors at SSA. We are excited to see who continues the summer tradition of playing their way into a college scholarship.

Every pool is balanced with talent, sponsorship affiliation and geographical space. We tried to create a field of competition that can only be found at the Best of the South. We like how things played out.

For college coaches, we designed the schedule to be efficient with your busy July schedule. Every new set of games presents match-ups with good competition of teams and similar players. The state of Georgia and southern region is loaded with events during and the perfect recruiting ground to open the July 8-12 recruiting period. The #BOTS is a perfect place for coaches to actually find a player.

There are teams from the adidas, Nike and Under Armour circuits in the field. That said, non-sponsored teams have proven to be difficult at the #BOTS. Aim High won in 2013 and PSB Select Elite won last year. Both programs had rosters rich with players that went on to quality post-season mid and low-major programs.

No one is safe at the #BOTS. And that’s just how we like it. Every game is intense. Every game matters. Winning is emphasized in our scheduling. You win, you continue to lock your team into maximum exposure.

With 15 different states and three countries represented in the tournament, the event will draw a crowd. We are expecting media from ESPN, Scout, Rivals, 247 Sports, USA Today, NBC Sports, regional media sites, video services and, of course, our HoopSeen staff. We encourage you to follow us on Twitter and Instagram for in-event stories.

The Best of the South, now in year five of existence, is our best yet. Stories will start here. The stage is ready. Bring your game.

We’ll see you in the gym on July 9th!
