#TBT: Daniel Fowler shines in FR year at Furman

We like to look back and see where high school hoopers go to college and check up on their successes. Now that the class of 2015 has one full year of college under their belts, we wanted to take a closer look at the hoopers.

Today’s player is Daniel Fowler of Furman University. The former Allatoona star was one of the most productive players from Georgia’s class of 2014 last season in college basketball.

Fowler, a late signee with the Paladins, started all 33 games he played in last season. He averaged 29.7 minutes a game (the most of any freshman in Division I basketball from Georgia).

He led all freshmen from Georgia in assists (2.5 apg) and steals (1.6 spg). He was fourth overall in scoring at 7.9 a clip and fourth in rebounding at 4 per contest.

He was ranked No. 13 overall in the class by HoopSeen.com.
