Quote on Players From the Coach: “Madison Williams’ recruitment has picked up quite a bit. He has 15+ mid majors that he is in contact with. He is really starting to showcase his explosiveness and ability to score the ball. We are looking to showcase his point guard skills more this summer. Christian Keeling has unleashed and showcased his ability to shoot the ball this past spring. He has really improved shooting the three-ball. He has always been known as a slasher and a junk yard dog on defense. He is also looking to showcase his point guard skills this summer to compliment his combo guard status. His recruitment is solid as well.” – Team Power Head Coach Greg Williams

HoopSeen Breakdown: Team Power always shows the best of what Augusta has to offer, with a plethora of good athletes and kids who can play at a high level. This spring has been no different, with a number of good finishes drawing attention. The most asked about player for Team Power has been Augusta Christian combo guard Madison Williams, who has really come on as a scorer this spring. Along with him in the backcourt have been Laney’s Christian Keeling and Peachtree Ridge’s MilzTatum, who provide more firepower in the backcourt. Their frontcourt has been anchored by Butler big man Ric’QuailSmoot, who provides a lot of size and toughness down low, as well as small forward San Antonio Brinson, who is an explosive athlete on the wing. We even saw a glimpse of former Tennessee commit Romello White in a Team Power uniform, providing even more size, athleticism, and scoring ability to the Power frontcourt. The Augusta team has the ability to make some noise in July showcase tournaments and gain the attention of college coaches along the way.
