Polley emerging quickly in the Sunshine state
Florida is becoming one of the most popular states for college coaches at all levels to recruit. With talent stacked from top to bottom, the Sunshine state continues to produce quality players. The next prospect to enter the spotlight is 2017 Sagemont (FL) small forward Tyler Polley.
Polley, a long 6-foot-8 forward, is quickly becoming a hot commodity on the AAU circuit with the E1T1 16U squad. His size and ability to score at all three levels, along with his long term potential, is what makes him an intriguing prospect at the next level.
“I’m best at attacking the basket and shooting the ball,” Polley told HoopSeen.com.
While it is still early, Polley currently holds one offer.
“UAB has offered me,” he said. “Florida, Florida State, and Maryland are some of the schools interested.”
UAB extended an offer after watching Polley during the first live evaluation period at Boo Williams in Hampton, Virginia.
“Maryland recently came to an open gym to see me. They seem really interested.”
More high-major programs will take a peek at Polley when the July recruiting period comes around. Until then, the sophomore has an idea of what he is looking for in his future college home.
“I want a good system for me to play in and a supportive coach. That’s what I am looking for in a school.”
Be prepared to hear more of Polley’s name as his career progresses. He has next in Florida.
