Overview
Can Jenkins be the team that can stop Tookie Brown? One of Georgia’s top postseason performers in recent memory had 36 points to lead Morgan County to the state title last year, and this year’s postseason has been no different. Brown had 37 points in the semifinals against one of the toughest defensive teams in the state in Laney out of Augusta. Unlucky for him and Morgan County, the Bulldogs will be taking on another one of the state’s lockdown defensive teams in Jenkins. Jenkins will throw a lot of pressure at Morgan County and will bring a lot of fresh legs off the bench as they are one of the state’s deepest teams.
Must See Matchup
Despite all the eyes being on Tookie Brown, look at a great matchup on the wing between Morgan County’s Jailyn Ingram and Jenkins’ Malik Benlevi, a Georgia State signee. Both of these guys have plenty of athleticism and should provide some fireworks in this one.
Carter Wilson’s Prediction
Morgan County over Jenkins 66-65
