Previewing Crawford County vs Seminole County
Crawford County (27-3) vs. Seminole County (27-3)
The class AA championship will certainly be one thing - entertaining.
The two schools match-up quite well. Both teams like to get out and run. Expect this game to keep the scorekeepers busy. Crawford County and Seminole County are nearly mirror-image on both sides of the ball. Both teams average 75 points a contest.
The match-up features two of Georgia's best juniors in Will Jerrell of Crawford County and Jordan Harris of Seminole County. The match-up also features two of the better second options in the state as Marcal Knolton of Crawford County and Anfernee King of Seminole County are good enough to be a game-changer.
Crawford County may boast more depth but Harris has been known to take over a game down the stretch.
The Macon Centreplex will be packed and extremely loud for this game. The fans, by our projection, will get their money's worth.
Match-up of note
Crawford County's Will Jerrell and Seminole County's Jordan Harris will pair up against each other in the backcourt, giving hoop fans one of the best individual match-ups of the entire GHSA playoffs.
The two class of 2016 guards are two of the best scorers in Georgia. Both are 6-foot-4. Both are athletic. Both are the anchor of their respective teams. Jerrell is a terrific passer. Harris, a Georgia commitment, is as athletic as it gets. Jerrell has been one of the hottest prospects in the post-season.
It doesn't get better than this when looking at a player vs. player spotlight.
