Texas A&M continues recruiting haul, adds Thomas

People have always said things are bigger and better in Texas. Apparently, they were also referring to Texas A&M basketball and their 2015 recruiting class, too.

The Aggies landed a commitment from 2015 Lancaster (TX) power forward Elijah Thomas on Tuesday afternoon; Thomas is regarded as a top-40 overall prospect nationally.

Thomas chose A&M over offers from LSU, Illinois, Oklahoma State, and SMU.

He joins an already stellar recruiting class, as the Aggies already have commitments from Tyler Davis, D.J. Hogg, and Admon Gilder.

Also factor in freshman point guard Alex Robinson, and the Aggies should be very competitive for years down the road at College Station. They have done an outstanding job holding the DFW area.

We will take a closer look at A&M's recruiting success in the Tucker Topics tomorrow.
