Scissum wrapping visits up
It was a breakout summer for 2015 Lee-Huntsville (Ala.) combo forward Gerron Scissum. Coming into the summer as a virtual unknown, he burst onto the AAU scene and became a primary target for several schools.
While the interest and offers are coming in for the 6-foot-7 big man, it looks like a decision could be in the near future.
"I will have a decision soon," Scissum told HoopSeen.com.
Florida Atlantic, Murray State, Louisiana Tech, Troy, and High Point are some of the schools that are in the running for Scissum's services.
He visited Louisiana Tech a couple of weeks ago and came away impressed with what head coach Mike White's program has to offer.
"I like their playing style and the opportunity to play right away."
He was at Murray State an official visit over the weekend and things went well. Next, he will head to Florida Atlantic for an official visit this upcoming weekend. Following that, a decision could be made.
Scissum is one of the top players in the state of Alabama and one of the more underrated players nationally. He would be a big draw for any school.
