Meet Khavon Moore

For the average high school hoops fan, players are rarely seen until they hit the court for their school. Spectators at The Fall Preview got the chance to see 2018 Forward Khavon Moore of Westside High School (Macon, GA) perform with some of the best players in the state.

And he did not disappoint one bit.

Moore, at a long 6-foot-7, can seemingly do everything on a basketball floor. He scores it from different levels, passes like a lead guard, rebounds it well, and blocks shots with his length.

"I like to get out in transition and run. I want to show I can do everything. Score, find teammates, everything," Moore told HoopSeen.

Moore is part of a mix of south and middle Georgia players that has grown to rival the talent of the Atlanta area.

"I want to show that we can play too," Moore said simply about the rise of talent in those areas.

One thing is for sure, coaches and fans alike better get used to the name Khavon Moore. Despite not having a high school game under his belt, many people consider him to be one of the top prospects in the state regardless of class.

Troy has offered a scholarship already. Moore took an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech last weekend. Georgia wants to come down and watch him play. Connecticut has put a call into the school to let coaches know they'll be involved in his recruitment.
