Jordan rules the fall

Big names from all over the southeast have flocked to the metro Atlanta area over the last few weeks for both the Elite 100 and HoopSeen’s The Fall Preview.

These big names have been fun to watch, but one name has surprisingly stood out at both events.

That name is Rockdale County’s Jalen Jordan.

The 6-foot-2 guard has great court vision and has a knack for finding his teammates. He can also score it well by getting in the lane and finishing as well as shooting from the perimeter.

“I like to get out and run. I want my teammates to know that I’m on the outlet and that I can make something happen with the ball in my hands. I just want to help my team in every game on both sides of the floor,” said Jordan about his game.

The most surprising part of all of this is that there was very little talk about him going into the camps. However, at both events he had spectators and coaches buzzing with his play.

“I know I’m the underdog. No one really knows me. I know that I have to go out there and prove something,” Jordan said.

Jordan told HoopSeen.com that has gained interest from Florida Gulf Coast, South Alabama, UAB, Troy, and Young Harris and that The Citadel has been in to see him work out.

One thing is for sure: the fall period has helped him put his name out there and prove that he belongs with the elite players in the state. He’s certainly one to keep an eye on, and low to mid major coaches should keep him on their radar for the upcoming season.
