U.S. Junior National Team minicamp rosters revealed
Fifty-three high school prospects will have the opportunity to participate in the U.S. Junior National Team minicamp in Colorado Springs, Colorado next month, USA Basketball announced.
Sixteen Class of 2015 prospects, headed by uncommitted stars Jaylen Brown and Malik Newman, will meet to participate in the minicamp.
However, the number of elite underclassmen that USA Basketball has assembled is quite impressive. There are 20 Class of 2018 players, along with 17 Class of 2017 prospects, ranging from players like Marvin Bagley III and Robert Woodard to Austin Wiley and Jarred Vanderbilt.
Here are the players who have been invited to the camp, separated by class:
2015: Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson (Villanova), Henry Ellenson, Chase Jeter (Duke), Luke Kennard (Duke), Tyler Lydon (Syracuse), Charles Matthews (Kentucky), Malik Newman, Ivan Rabb, Diamond Stone, Caleb Swanigan, Allonzo Trier (Arizona), Jimmy Whitt (Arkansas), DJ Williams (Illinois), Stephen Zimmerman.
2017: Brian Bowen, Troy Brown Jr., Wendell Carter Jr., Matthew Coleman, Trevon Duval, Nojel Eastern, Jalek Felton, Chris Giles, Jaylen Hands, D.J. Harvey, Markus Howard (Arizona State), Ira Lee, Michael Porter Jr., David Sloan, Jarred Vanderbilt, Paul Washington, Austin Wiley.
