Tucker ready to fly at FGCU
Florida Gulf Coast University won over America with their Dunk City style of play and while most of the cast from the March Madness team is gone now, the Atlantic Sun team is still a hot brand with recruits with a fast-paced style with new head coach Joe Dooley.
The recruiting ripple effect has paid dividends in the class of 2015. The Eagles landed Rayjon Tucker, a bouncy 6-foot-4 wing forward from Charlotte (NC) Northside Christian Academy, on Wednesday afternoon.
"Go where you're wanted not where you want to go because where you want to go may not always be the best," Tucker told HoopSeen.com.
Tucker was one of the most athletic players that stepped foot on the floors at Suwanee Sports Academy. He played very well with Team Charlotte and drummed up a lot of recruiting interest. FGCU jumped in early and never gave up. Tucker visited the Atlantic Sun school last weekend officially.
Tucker is an instant fan favorite and could be the most athletic player in the Atlantic Sun even as a true freshman. See what we mean:
