Mercer secures a good one in Stair

How does Mercer take advantage of their March success all the while restock the shelves with players that fit Bob Hoffman's style and add a winning value to the lineup? By locking up players like Ethan Stair.

The Alabama do-everything guard took an official visit to the Macon campus over the weekend and decided to end his recruitment on Sunday night.

Stair said Mercer was "a perfect fit at a great academic school with a solid coaching staff." Stair added he liked how Hoffman and staff uses big guards in the lineup.

Stair also considered Wichita State, Samford, Lipscomb, Elon, High Point and Wofford.
