Georgia Southern impresses Brown

Over the weekend, Bryce Brown traveled to Statesville to take in the Georgia Southern campus, and he came away very impressed.

Asked if the visit makes him like the Eagles more, Brown replied “yes, a lot more.”

The Tucker (Ga) shooting guard like the way coach Mark Byington allows his players have freedom on offense.

Brown also like the academic progress the team has made since Byington took over. In his first year at the helm, the Eagles GPA rose from 1.7 to 3.0, according to Brown.

“He has a good academic plan for his players,” Brown said.
